Comment: I am super grateful I found Washmix. I had a circumstance recently that left me unable to lift anything for a quick minute; and so, doing my own laundry was out while I convalesced. Enter Michael and the Washmix team to take over laundry duty and well... just... thank goodness for them! My clothes are being cared for as well as if I was doing them (honestly, better than if I was doing them) and the ease of using the Washmix system (the advantage program especially) and the convenience of just being able to text to request a pick up pretty much ensures me being another happy customer for a long, long time. Comment: I’ve been visiting the Bay Area for a short brief and on various occasions.I came across WASHMIX as I have been looking for an eco friendly dry cleaner and how good that I found these guys.- Reliable service- prompt and always in time- quality work- prices are competitive and I also decided to go for their Advantage account which ended up getting me more perks and discountsAnd finally the delivery.I’ve used other similar services before but I’ve yet to experience the same level of service for the price as I have with WASHMIX.Highly recommend them and also recommend their advantage accountsAll you do is pay in advance and get on their VIP club that gets you the perks and DISCOUNT.

Comment: I dropped off a bunch of sweaters about a week before Labor Day; I needed them back by the end of Labor Day weekend because I was leaving town Tuesday morning to spend four months in a colder climate. I was told to pick up the clothes on Saturday of Labor Day weekend, but when I arrived that morning they were closed for the whole weekend(!). I was pretty sure I wouldnt see those sweaters again until January.However, I called the phone number, and to my great surprise the manager (Michael) texted back right away, and he made all the arrangements to correct the situation. I was able to pick up the cleaning later that afternoon. I greatly appreciate his responsiveness, as well as the time and effort of the employee who came in on his day off.Bottom line: they botched the initial communication about when to pick up, but I give them 5 stars for making it right in a prompt and helpful way.

Comment: These people are a great resource for busy professionals or folks who like to save time. I use their home pickup and delivery service where I place my dry cleaning and laundry bag on a hook that fits over my condo door. I send a text message to the business telling them I have laundry and they come and pick it up. A few days later they return my laundry cleaned and pressed. No double trips to the location. The premium service is perhaps a bit pricey but well worth the service. Highly recommend this laundry.

He worked within my schedule and the services were excellent.I found them while looking for a place to preserve my wedding dress. Four days before my wedding, we did a photoshoot in our wedding attire, so I coordinated with Michael (via text) to drop off my wedding dress so it could get dry-cleaned within the 4 days before my wedding! I was very nervous since the timeline was so short. My wedding dress got pretty dirty during the photoshoot, and it came back sparkling clean and looked fresh for my wedding, and it was perfectly on time.After the wedding, I dropped off my wedding dress for preservation and my husbands suit and moms dress for dry-cleaning and they all came back clean and fresh.Highly recommend this place for any of your dry-cleaning needs!

Ive personally used their sewing services for blazers and suits along with dry cleaning for shirts, trousers and jackets.In terms of pricing theyre moderately economical. Theyre located on Castro and have a parking lot right in front of them if that helps. In terms of service, theyre timely and professional.

Comment: This review is for their wash & fold with pick-up and drop-off services.At first, I had a lot of questions to be answered, so I hesitated using the service. I finally wrote via Yelp to the owner and asked all my questions. He emailed back and offered to have a quick call to address all my questions. This was very nice of him. Here is the lowdown of everything I asked and learned during that call - hope its helpful to you guys. Ive been using their services for ~6 months now and really enjoy the convenience of it.There are two options for wash and dry services:Option 1: pay as you goOption 2: pre-pay a certain amount and get VIP treatmentOption 1 is pretty straightforward. You must go to their location on Castro street and drop-off or pick-up your clothes if you choose this method. Standard pricing is $1.49 per pound for wash and fold.Option 2 is where things get more interesting. Heres how it works:* You pre-pay a certain amount. Based on how much you pre-pay, you get a discount on their standard pricing.* If you pre-pay $100, you get a 10% discount. Pre-pay $250 for a 25% discount. Discounts are applied automatically.* Pre-paid amounts never expire.* If you sign-up for the pre-paid option, you can get refunded in full the remainder of your balance if you cancel after the very first time you try the service.* As pre-paid VIP member, you get free pick-up and drop-off of clothes at your place. You simply send a text message to a number they give you with your info (name, address, etc.) the night before and they pick-up your clothes the next day (e.g., text Sunday for Monday pick-up).* They normally take 3-4 days to return the bag of clothes. It has taken up to a week.* You can also send clothes for dry cleaning or professional services through the pick-up/drop-off service. Just make sure you label them in separate bags.In general, the service has been good. I highly recommend it for those of you who hate enough doing laundry that youd pay for it. The folding service saves a lot of time. I dont have an in-unit washer or dryer, needed to used shared machines, so I opted to use this service instead.
