Comment: I was in SD for a few days for work/travel (from LA) and decided to bring my dry cleaning along/get it done. I looked online for the best dry cleaners in SD and came across Veribest. Their name lives up to their reputation! I had 20 pieces (suits, blouses, husbands shirts), some with deeper stains (collars), and one blouse that acquired a slightly pinkish tinge from having been accidentally washed at home with non-white clothing. I dropped off everything on Wednesday afternoon and was able to pick up everything by Friday (48 hours). The pink/peach blouse is snowy white, the two shirts that had collar stains are really clean, and the rest of the clothes (silks, linens) are in excellent shape. I loved the customer service I got as well - the lady at the counter examined each item carefully, made sure to note deep cleaning where needed (with tape on the shirt collars, arms), and gave me a 20% discount (which is a lot for this many items). My total bill came out to $200 - about $10/piece - and it was completely worth it. I like Veribest so much that the next time Im in SD and need dry cleaning done Ill throw it in my car and bring it here. Thank you!

I was mostly using a terrible one that took a week or more to return my clothing and did a sub par job. Veribest is always on time with pick up and drop off, and only takes two days to deliver my clothing back to me. Everything smells fresh and is beautifully taken care of. Comment: Was in from out of town for a wedding. No other dry cleaner heard my plea. I had 3 days to get my suit, and my wifes bridesmaid gown dry cleaned. Everywhere I called, 2-3 days with the afternoon of the wedding day being soonest pickup.I happened to call Veribest. My hope was low. At first, they gave a similar time frame: 2days. Then they asked what the cleaning was for. I told them it was for a wedding. While hesitant on the phone and after a little deliberation on their back end, they agreed.This place had many reviews, a great number of reviews compared to everyone else in a 30-minute radius, and was very busy. I find it hard to believe they could just make the room for my request just because. It felt like someone on their end took to heart our dilemma and valued someone elses celebration. Talk about impressions being left.From the staff on the phone and in person to the drop off and pick, it is very professional. They are incredibly busy, so they are not talkers. They pay attention, and they get the work done with enough said with a smile to show theyre enhaged. They deliver quality work at a respectable price.I noticed they do resizing and many other services, and theyre busy. My story may just be a one-off. Plan ahead. Parking is small (3-4 spots), but it is close by to other parking options to walk, and the streets arent too busy to cross. Veribest was in the same price range PLUS offered a discount. The environmental practices also caught my eye. I needed a white, Buffy, comforter cleaned. I had it cleaned before somewhere else, and it was completely ruined. I had to contact the company. Because of this, I was very nervous to get it dry cleaned again. Veribest did AMAZING. Its SO white, like sleeping on a soft cloud. I wish I took before / after pictures!

Recently, I dropped off a jacket with a zipper that wasn’t functioning and asked for the zipper to be replaced. I discovered after picking it up and returning home that they did not replace it but instead just put the old zipper pulls back on, but when I returned to the shop was assured that they had fixed it. I had given it a couple attempts at home and it hadn’t unzipped, so I left upset, mistakenly thinking the fix they made didn’t work. John gave me a personal call after I left and offered to have his ‘zipper guy’ give it another shot, to which I agreed. I was mortified after getting off the phone with him and giving the zipper pulls one more (stronger) yank, to discover that while initially stiff, the zipper did indeed work again! So, I’d like to announce publicly how much I appreciate his emphasis on customer service, and let people know they can trust Veribest with more challenging clothing projects!

While traveling through San Diego, I brought my stained linen pants here after 2 places told me they wouldnt attempt to get the dye transfer out. Comment: Estela, the attendant at Veribest Cleaners today, “saved the day!!” I went in for my first visit today. While at the counter Estela and I heard two very loud pops from the alley. Not hesitating, Estela ran out as she asked me to stand in the doorway. She looked down the alley and saw a fire in a transient cart. The blaze was about 4 ft. high! She ran back and called 911. I remembered I had a fire extinguisher in my car. She called 911 for the fire department while I used the fire extinguisher. A man with a hose came out and then the fire department came.If not for Estela’s bravery to immediately run to the alley and then call 911, the houses next to the fire would have went up in flames!! Thank you Estela for protecting your community!!

The owner immediately took them in and we were told they would be ready by the afternoon the next day. Within 3 hours of dropping them off, we received a call advising they were ready for pick up.
