Comment: While on a budget and timeline I ran a search all over the South Bay and West LA for affordable dry cleaners to clean my wedding dress before my 10th wedding anniversary. You read correctly. It took me 10 years to finally take it in (time flies by when youre busy with kids and life)! To be honest after year 7 I kinda gave up cleaning it. Using Yelp allowed me to write, and send photos to vendors for a quote. Rainbow Cleaners was the first to respond and the most knowledgeable by far. Through the pictures they could tell in detail the age and condition of my dress. Theyre also my neighborhood dry cleaner walk-able distance from home BUT they were out of my budget so I brought my dress to the next place in K-Town. Once there, they took one look in person and had to turn it away saying that it was too intricate and they didnt want to be liable should anything happen to it! Time was short and I decided to see what Rainbow could do. I was pleasantly surprised how they were able to work with me and I even received my dress before the anniversary about a couple weeks away. Very thankful for this local business.

Comment: I just started playing mariachi again after a several years long break due to the pandemic. The suit jacket for one of my uniforms is very atypical of standard dry cleaning fare (it has an inlaid silver thread design that is very easy to fray and/or tear out). I brought in my suit after getting back from a long hot an humid weekend playing in Tamaulipas, Mexico. My makeup melted off of my face and some of it ended up on the jacket and some ended up on the vest of my white suit (transfeminine individuals such as myself will often wear makeup all the way down our neck in order to hide beard shadow, this makes it very easy to end up with shirts and jacket collars with makeup stains if the makeup runs). I was nervous that they would not be removable because of how long had gone by between the start of the trip and getting the suits cleaned, but Rainbow Cleaners got the stains out despite the amount of makeup set in and delicate nature of the suit jackets fabric.I was nervous about bringing in a skirt to a dry cleaner (you never know how people will treat you when you are trans), but the gentleman who helped me was very nice and didnt make a big deal about the fact that I am trans. My suit came back clean, intact, with quick service at a reasonable price. Im glad I found this place and that its fairly close to where I live. I will definitely be coming back when my suits need to be refreshed.

Comment: I cannot recommend Nick and Rainbow Cleaners enough!I brought in the impossible…and I mean it. I was told by 4 other seamstresses that they would not touch my gown. Nick and his seamstress worked with me and came up with several options and were able to give me exactly what was needed for the gown.This is a business that will work with you and build trust with their clients, rather than just taking money and doing a job that may or may not come out how you want.They now have a permanent customer!

Nick and Sam are always super welcoming, cleaning is done when promised (usually before), and you receive a text when its ready.
