Comment: Took in a pair of slacks for stain removal/dry cleaning & was absolutely delighted with the service. Kudos to Bertha, who attended me and has an eye for detail. She noticed the stains on the slacks right away and I knew right away that I came to the right place. If I ever start a business I would want my employees to all be like Bertha; professional, attentive, and super helpful.

Comment: The biggest highlight at Kona Cleaners in Via Lido Plaza is their customer service - both times I visited, they were honest with their limitations and set my expectations accordingly based on my needs. I had brought in a faux fur coat and they advised the process may be harsh and made sure I was aware and comfortable before proceeding. I had another winter coat with a faux fur hood lining - they took the lining off and told me how to care for it separately on my own. I really appreciate the extra thought and effort they put into servicing anyone who walks through their door.

While other cleaners will take multiple days to clean a shirt, Kona seems to have built an operation that allows them to provide next-day service, even when I drop off in the evening, which is impressive considering they dont even do the cleaning on site. The quality and speed make me not mind paying slightly more at Kona than at some of the other local cleaners which take way longer and always end up breaking my buttons.

Comment: I just recently moved onto my boat in Newport Harbor and dropped off some dress shirts with Anna at Kona Cleaners and everything was way more streamlined and easy than Ive experienced at a dry cleaners before. I setup everything with my e-mail with them which is perfect since I always lose my tickets, but I also received a status update when it was ready which was perfect. Shortly afterwards, Kayla called to welcome me to Kona and also informed me that they do Fluff and Fold, which is perfect since there isnt a washing machine on my boat. All of this, coupled with the fact that the location is literally walking distance from me made everything so convenient and easy. Definitely would recommend Kona Cleaners to anyone.
