Comment: I found my gown in 2019, and I had no idea that we would have such a journey in the years to follow. I met the Tori gown by Casablanca at Wine Country Bride Boutique in Santa Rosa (I cannot recommend the shop enough). As a previous bridal consultant, I had worked with the ladies that own the shop now and wouldn’t trust anyone else to do a better job. She was the very first gown picked and tried on. If only the rest of it were so easy.We all know what happened in 2020, and every bride handled it differently. For me, we decided to make lemonade out of lemons - and my wine country dress became a backyard wedding dress for better or worse. It was also during that backyard wedding that we announced to our immediate family that we were expecting our son. It was nothing like I imagined, but so much more.We did still have our wine country wedding in 2021, though we hadn’t previously imagined we would have our three month old son on the guest list back when we started planning our wedding in 2019. (Nor did I ever think I’d have pictures of me breastfeeding a baby in my wedding gown, but that’s just how the wedding cake crumbles).When it comes down to it, this dress gave me so much more than I had planned for it. And, when all was said and done, I wanted to do what I could to protect it (and the memories) for the years to come. Not to mention it’s also massive and I had no good storage solutions for it in our small condo.I did some googling and came across Elegance preserved. I had fully prepared myself to have to lug my massive ballgown to another dry cleaner, but when I read about their pick up and drop off procedures, after a couple of years of difficult decisions I found myself making an incredibly easy one. Sending my dress to be cleaned and preserved after all we had been through was a no brainer, and the team at Elegance preserved made it so convenient and easy. And I am eternally grateful for an easy conclusion to my wild wedding ride.Just do it. Get your dress cleaned and preserved. It’s worth it. Trust me, and trust Elegance preserved to be that final step. I’m so glad I did.

Comment: I bought a beautiful used gown from Emerald Gowns I. Berkeley but wanted to get it dry cleaned. I searched for a long time trying to find someone local to clean my dress. Elegance Preserved came to my house to pickup my dress and delivered it back to me so quickly! The dress looks perfect. It is a complicated dress with multiples layers of different fabric and lots of design and bead work and they did a wonderful job with it!

Comment: I am so happy with the service I received from Elegance Preserved.I purchased my dress, a beautiful gown by Allure Couture, at Janene’s Bridal Boutique. I saw many gown preservation kits online, but I didn’t feel like I could completely trust them with such a special (and pricey) dress. My dress featured many layers, different materials, beaded appliqués, and a long train, and I felt the most comfortable with the expertise at Elegance Preserved to professionally clean and preserve my gown. Even better, Janene’s Bridal provided a $100 discount to use for their services.The process was very easy. I submitted a form online with my information, had my dress picked up at my home (a convenient service since their physical location is closed because of the pandemic), and received a quote for services. If you want, you can schedule a FaceTime call to view your dress after services are completed. I received my dress back via home delivery a little less than three months later.My gown was packaged securely in a box with many layers of acid-free tissue paper. The box came with a muslin cover for storage. Gloves were provided inside the box. It was easier than I thought to examine parts of the dress without completely taking it out of the box. The dress smelled nice, and the dirt I noticed on it before was gone.Thank you to Olivia and the team at Elegance Preserved for taking such good care of my dress and for being so easy to communicate with every step of the way!

Comment: I recently received my dress back from Elegance Preserved. It got cleaned and preserved. I have a glittery and tulle dress that is hi-low from Davids Bridal and I had an outdoor wedding. There was quite a bit of dirt and pine needles in the bottom of the dress due to trekking in the forest, but I found Elegance Preserved through online searching and they were quick to put my eases aside for cleaning my dress.They responded very fast and made it easy to come pick up the dress from me. They were also great at working on finding a drop-off date with me since the holidays tend to make days less available for me.I greatly appreciated that they would come to the house to grab the dress and drop it off and their new protocols for COVID adaptations seem to work very well!Knowing my dress was very glittery, I was totally prepared to have most of the glitter gone from it, but to my surprise, and delight, a lot of the glitter still remained on the dress!The dress is as amazing as to when I first got it nearly two years ago! Plus, the box I received it in fits perfectly underneath the bed which helps me with storing the dress immensely.I am genuinely impressed with Elegance Preserved and would recommend them to anyone who needs preserving and cleaning of garments with ease of mind!

Comment: Elegance Preserved has gone above and beyond to meet my every need. Planning a wedding during the pandemic has been very stressful so I’ve had many questions and all of those questions were answered within minutes of calling, texting or emailing. I purchased a sample bridal gown (Stella York 6993) from Flare’s Bridal in Walnut Creek. Without question, I knew I needed cleaning but had no idea who to entrust with something so meaningful to me. I found Elegance Preserved on the Taylor Maid SF website under FAQs and I have no regrets choosing to move forward with them. Despite living out of the Elegance Preserved pickup/delivery route, it was an ease scheduling a pick up within their route that worked for both of us. At pick up, I met Olivia who ensured my safety by wearing a mask and keeping her distance. &&& lastly EP even accommodated me with a drop off at Taylor Maid SF where I’ll be starting alterations next week, how can you beat that???!!! Comment: I purchased my dress from BHLDN. My dress is the Olson gown which has beautiful layers of tulle, satin, and lace. I also had a cathedral length veil and a custom face mask made from the layers of my dress that were cut off from the hem. The dress, veil and mask were wonderfully cleaned. There was makeup all over my face mask and they got the make-up stains off! The face mask will be a reminder of a pandemic wedding. I also loved how Elegance Preserved folded and stored the long veil. It has been a struggle for me to figure out how to best store the veil and they managed to do it gracefully in layers of tissue.I found EP online after doing some research. I liked how easy it was to get ahold of them online or through text. Receiving the quote was also an easy process. It is a little pricey but well worth it. I would ask them if they have any discounts they could offer. I was a little hesitant about preserving my dress but after reading about their process and their methods, I felt comfortable that they would take care of my dress and clean and preserve it properly. It took about three months for me to receive my dress back and they were very accurate with their quoted timelines.EP also did free pick-up and delivery which I thought was great and super easy. The staff wore masks during these interactions and also provided text updates. Everything went smoothly and I would highly recommend utilizing their service if you’re interested in cleaning and preserving your dress!

Elegance Preserved saved my dress!My wedding dress had been in storage for several months and upon airing it out for an upcoming fitting appointment, I noticed several ugly yellow stains. I am so glad I chose them to clean and preserve my wedding gown.I purchased my wedding dress, Sareh Nouri - Meryl, at Nordstrom and the wonderful Nordstrom representative highly recommended Elegance Preserved to clean and preserve my gown. I was married in January 2020 and finally got around to thinking about cleaning and preserving my gown about a year later. I knew my dress would be a challenge because we had taken photos outside our venue on the streets of SF. Needless to say, the bottom of my dress was completely dirty. Also, a drink (white wine, thankfully) was spilled on my dress during the wedding reception too, which left a large stain.I filled out the contact information online and I was contacted right away and given a pick up time where they would come to retrieve my dress from my home. That was such a nice touch, as I didnt really want to travel anywhere with my dress during COVID. They were proactive about communicating with me via text and email. The evaluated my dress and asked permission to do some test cleaning to ensure they would be able to remove the stains. After the testing they sent pictures showing the progress! I was so pleased. They then gave me a time estimate for the work and updated me along the way. They returned my dress to my house a week before the original expected completion date. Its in a really nice box and I feel confident about storing my very clean gown. They made this process SO incredibly easy, I wish I had just reached out sooner. My mother in law met Olivia to give her my dress and had nothing but great things to say. They were incredibly thorough with their communication and what I was to expect out of my dress preservation. I opted to have mine “museum preserved” because I knew I was moving soon. Kind of out-of-sight-out-of-mind for a couple months when they called me to charge my card with the final deposit. We scheduled a drop off, and Olivia was professional as ever and gave me great direction on how to store my boxed up dress. I had both the cleaning and preserving services done and it looks just as perfect as it did the day I bought it. I purchased my dress from Grace & White Bridal in Sacramento, CA and had it altered at TailorMaid SF, who recommended Elegance Preserved for all-things-needed post wedding day. (By the way, TailorMaid SF is also AMAZING and made all my alterations dreams come true.) Comment: I love my wedding dress and I knew I wanted to have it cleaned and preserved. I was really worried because it was in pretty bad shape after the wedding - the train was dirty and a little torn from our vineyard photos, it had a glass of some hard liquor spilled on the front, and some of the beading was coming loose. I researched the different cleaning and preservation options, and Elegance Preserved came up in my searches with great reviews. They were super easy to work with from beginning to end and I was very happy with how they communicated with me about the status of my dress. I contacted them while we were sheltering-in-place and they made the process so easy. We did everything via email, text and phone and they offer full service drop off and pick up of your dress, which was so convenient. The pick up and drop off process took less than one minute each time and both of us wore masks. The whole cleaning and preservation process took approximately 3 months from the order date to completion.My dress was designed by Sophia Tolli (y11630) - it has several layers, lace, beading, and a long train. Comment: I bought my dress (Soterro & Midgley Stella 5SS114LU) & veil (Marionat Bridal Veil 3515) at a sample sale (Elegant Lace Bridal in San Jose) in 2019 for a summer 2020 wedding. I found Elegance Preserved through my wedding planner!Then, COVID hit and we werent sure if we were going to postpone our wedding. Ultimately, we decided to follow through with our ceremony but I forgot that I needed to get my dress and veil cleaned. Less than a month before our wedding I reached out to Elegance Preserved and Sean guaranteed that my attire would be ready! Because of shelter-in-place, they offered free pick up/return services. Olivia was AWESOME and friendly and coordinating with her was super easy.After the wedding, my attire and my husbands tux (Daniel George) were cleaned by them also! Since I bought my dress at Elegant Lace Bridal, Elegance Preserved also gave a $50 credit for cleaning and another $50 credit for preserving. I opted not to have my dress preserved, so that I can do a photoshoot in the future but they still gave me credit for my second cleaning.Both times, our attire was ready even earlier than their estimated completion date. I also received email updates throughout the process. Our clothes were DIRTY and they really made everything look and smell new. Everything stayed in perfect condition. I highly recommend them!!

Comment: I inherited both my mother (1954) and grandmother’s (1912) wedding gowns. Both had been stored, wrapped in tissue paper in my grandmother’s steamer trunk for decades. I decided it was past due for them to be stored properly. I looked online for a dry cleaner that did wedding dress preservation. I didn’t find anything that seemed to fit what I needed locally (I’m near Sacramento). My daughters live in the Bay Area and I’m frequently there so when I saw they picked up and delivered and read the good reviews, I called Elegance Preserved. Their response was almost immediate and continued to be throughout the process . Olivia explained what options were available and what the procedure would be. Because the dresses are old and delicate. Excellent communication, they keep me Informed every step of the way. They were flexible in working with my daughter’s schedule (they picked up and dropped off the gowns to her). I also had wedding shoes, leather gloves, head pieces and a veil that they were able to place in the box. Now my priceless heirlooms are together and safely preserved. The staff at Elegance Preserved understood that these gowns were precious and treated them with respect and appreciation. I highly recommend them. Comment: I found the PERFECT dress at BoLee Bridal in 2019. It was the Willowby Philomena gown and had tulle, lace, and beading. After I was married in September 2019, it took quite a long time for me to find a place to get my dress cleaned & preserved as I was worried my dress would be damaged in the process. Also, lets be real, cleaning and preservation is not cheap and paying for a service that wouldnt be top notch would not be worth it.I found Elegance Preserved through Google and saw them on a number of other websites as well and I am SO glad I worked with the San Mateo location. The service they provided is unparalleled!They answered my many questions, shared their concerns after dress inspection, set expectations, but most importantly, let me know they would get my dress back to new without compromising any structure of the fabrics. Since COVID their process has changed and it is all based on a pickup/delivery service and emails for the quotes and inspection. Seriously, trust the process, it was such a great experience. Olivia was such a gem and tried her best (and succeeded!) in getting my dress to me soon after cleaning and adjusted her route to cater to my schedule and I am entirely grateful. They even completed my dress preservation weeks sooner than I had thought it would be finished!I have a couple of friends getting married soon, plus another looking for a place to get her dress preserved and Ive already sent Elegance their way. Both the wedding ceremony and reception were held outdoors and the entire hemline of the dress became very soiled but Elegance Preserved cleaned it to perfection. I am very pleased to have used Elegance Preserved for my daughter’s wedding dress.Elegance Preserved implemented Covid-19 procedures during the pickup and return of the dress. The company called ahead to schedule both pickup and return times at our front door. The driver called to announce that they had arrived at our home and wore a mask and maintained social distancing during the entire interaction and discussion with me.In a year or so, when it is safe for large groups to be together, our daughter and her husband plan to celebrate their wedding with a party that will include the extended families and friends who were prevented from attending the original wedding. I was lucky to get married right before shelter in place and with everything being so chaotic after the wedding, I kind of forgot about the dress. About two months later, I realized I never tried to find a way to clean it and I didnt know where to turn since everything was shut down. Luckily, a coworker mentioned Elegance Preserved because they did home pickup. I contacted them and they were very helpful during the process. They were able to pick up my dress from my moms house in San Francisco and deliver it to my condo in Daly City. Olivia was very kind and never tried to up-sell- although I did end up deciding to preserve the dress. :) Best decision. The extra COVID-19 measures made everything very easy on my end and took away a lot of the stress surrounding how to pick it up. I purchased my dress from Trudys because it was a good quality at a reasonable price. I would say Elegance Preserved is the same for handling a wedding dress upkeep. Good quality and a reasonable price.

Comment: I bought my dress from Nellys Bridal in South San Francisco. My Martin Thornburg dress had very intricate detail with lace, slight beading, and on a separate layer, it had sequence. This dress was amazing - I love everything about it, however, on my wedding day, my husband and I took pictures in a forest and on a beach, so you can imagine how dirty the bottom was. I brought my dress to Elegance Preserved and not only did they keep me updated through the entire process, but they got out everything I was concerned about. They are a little pricey, but worth it with the level of service, cleaning process and packaging of the dress. Highly recommend!!

Comment: I debated with myself for a really long time about whether or not I wanted to preserve my dress. When I decided for it, I researched and looked everywhere to find a place that would do an amazing job, and LOOKED elegant enough for my once in a lifetime purchase. I didnt want to go to a dry cleaner nor somewhere overcrowded with garments. I wanted to go somewhere that specializes in preserving dresses. I found Elegance Preserved on The Knot. I contemplating a box window or not, but learned on Elegance Preserveds website and other sites that it wasnt a good idea. They are super transparent about every step of their process, so it made it easier for me to hand over something this special to them.A little background about my dress: I got my dress from Nellys Bridal Boutique in South San Francisco. I dont know the brand but its a super puffy A-line with a LOT of heading. It was love at first sight. I got the dress altered at Lucys Alterations and Dressmaking. The wedding was outdoors, on grass. Also, my husband and I kept stepping on it.When I got my dress back, they showed me my dress, detailing the beading and the train. My dress looked brand new, it was spotless. They come with a pair of gloves and a lifetime re-preservation so I can look at the dress as often as I want.I am overall super happy with my decision to go with EP. Their San Mateo location is also so so convenient, theres no metered parking! I moved out of the Bay last year, so naturally, I hate going into SF. The new location makes everything so much faster and hassle-free. I would 100% recommend them to anybody looking to clean OR preserve their dress.

Comment: I really enjoyed the experience and service from Elegance Preserved. My dress was from designer Rebecca Ingram (design: Mercy). It had a combination of delicate lace and Swarovski crystals over the top of an illusion neckline and an a-line skirt made of 5 layers of soft tulle and chiffon. I purchased it from a boutique called Bridal Closet in Utah. I found EP after all of the wedding festivities finished when I was searching for a place back home in the Bay Area that would take great care in preserving my gown. Fortunately, I did not have many stains on my gown, it basically needed to be cleaned and preserved properly. I researched a handful of other local dry cleaner websites but did not find their expertise to be up to par for my needs. For me, EP had a convenient drop-off/pick up location in San Mateo that was open on weekends. Their staff, esp. Olivia, was so professional and knowledgeable. They made sure to communicate with me regularly throughout the process. I just got my gown back the other day and Im very happy to now recommend others to their services.

I found Elegance Preserved through and online search and their San Mateo location was conveniently located near where I live. After contacting Elegance Preserved, everyone who worked at the store communicated with me promptly and answered all of my questions. They did a wonderful job with the dress cleaning and preservation and were spot on with their estimate and pick up date. I would recommend their services to anyone looking for wedding dress cleaning and preservation.

I’m the first of my friends to get married so I didn’t have a ton of recommendations to go by, so I googled for one nearby and was so lucky to have found Elegance Preserved.I originally purchased my dress from Novella Bridal (also highly recommend if you’re looking for different dress options + alterations). I purchased a Pronovias gown and an overskirt by Essence of Australia. My dress journey honestly took some time and I had multiple pieces to my dress - an extended long custom train veil and a second skirt. Elegance preserved made it so easy by quoting me fairly and giving me options too. They didn’t even consider the second skirt an additional cleaning and did it all in one! They sent me pictures, texted me updates, and honestly it was just so easy to get in touch with them.The response time was under 3 hours every time I sent them an email. That’s SO impressive given how many dresses they work on.When I picked it up from Olivia, I honestly felt like talking to an expert and a friend. She remembered my husband (who dropped off the dress) and was so kind to ask how things have been going. It was such a custom feeling experience and I highly recommend them to everyone. I’ll be sure to be referring my girlfriends (who are all getting married in the next two years).

Comment: I bought an off the rack lace wedding dress and the bridal salon I bought it from recommended getting my dress cleaned here. Our wedding day is very soon and Elegance Preserved was incredibly flexible and able to turn around the cleaning of my dress in under a week!
